One of my favorite lessons from the 2017-18 school year was a lesson I did with my Adaptive Art class. Adaptive Art is a class that consists of students from regular ed classes who are buddied up with students from our Self-Contained Special Needs classes at Beck Academy. The assignment was to create a poster to represent and celebrate the upcoming Special Olympic Spring Games at Furman. Students were to be inspired by selected figure works by Keith Haring and recreate their buddy group.
